Hi,
At LGM, two people offered to help us raise money:
Sirko Kemter (who teaches the use of Inkscape and was one of the organizers of LGM) has offered to host a developer's hacking session in Leipzig, possibly in September. He has suggested that he could get money from Google for this.
David Crossland (who has a contract with Google to work on Google Fonts) is eager to get 0.91 out as it has some font related features. He has suggested that he might be able to find money to pay someone in the Philippines to do release work. I am not sure how serious he was.

David has previously funded Felipe for font related features in Inkscape. I would assume he's serious... but not sure what exactly he has in mind.
