No. This is not necessary, as this value affects all tools. I fixed this (a month ago) by
<eventcontext id=\"text\"" style=\"fill:black;fill-opacity:1; ....This has been fixed in my builds since then. If it's still broken somewhere, preference-skeleton.h is not the culprit.
Ah... It's definitely in the 0.36 rpm build, but I didn't try CVS HEAD. Good to hear it's already been addressed.
