Thanks, I only use the trunk ppa at the moment on Kubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 on an Intel Core I3 pc. And I experienced this morning that the same occurs on my two systems after updating 14.04 too. ivan

2. Did you try to bisect the problem using bzr?
3. Which CPU arch are you using?
4. Which desktop env?
5. How are you building inkscape?
