[Inkscape-devel] annoying usability with selection

Does anyone else find it annoying that when using another tool, you can't select all with ctrl-a, and shift into selection mode? Also, I wonder if there could be shortcut keys associated with rotate 90 deg CW and 90 deg CCW.
