When you set stroke to some colour, and the fill to none on the

then choose Stroke to Path,
two objects are created:
1. Outlined Stroke
2. an object with no fill and no stroke.
According to our previous agreements, if the user chooses no fill

choosing Stroke to Path, then only the filled shape created by the
outline
should remain.
