Greeting to the community,
After over a year of intensive development and refactoring, Inkscape 0.47 is out.
And one of the things community seems to be quite interested in is a) whether we are planning point 0.47.x releases and b) whether we are really planning to kick 0.48 out as soon as possible to be ready for the next GSoC.
If there is no real merit for a 0.47.1 and 0.48 looks to be a "timely" release, then I don't want to bother with 0.47.1.
The plan as it stands it to have a relatively short open dev window (8-12 weeks if people are okay) for 0.48 before feature freeze, clean up what we have, do bug hunt w/ goal as usual, then move on to 0.48 with however many point releases needed until 0.49.
Cheers, Josh
