Hi, I just commited rev16059, basically doing s/_("")/("")/ where due. It looks like some developers are used to leave some labels/tooltips/strings empty, but mark them as translatable. This already surfaced on -translator some times ago (see [1]), but I was heavily bitten again today, so I fixed it.
Basically gettext has a bad behaviour wrt empty strings, and it replaces them with the .po header. Results are these: http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4834/emptystringwi6.png
So please *avoid* marking empty strings, or really weird things will happen in localisation.
