[Inkscape-devel] Email Notifications for Merge Requests

One item on the todo list at LGM was getting better notifications about when merge requests come in.

It requires an administrator for the inkscape project to set the branch reviewer to our mailing list account.

First, is this action a good idea? Do we want some emails to our list about merge requests? Second, is this the best technique? It could be done via a cron script and liblaunchpad too. And thirdly, any project admins have the time to configure the mailing list and the project to set this up for us?
