1. touch test.jpg
2. open inkscape and browse to test.jpg in the open file dialog.

Either you should see: ** Message: Gdk::PixbufError in SVGPreview::showImage which is good.

Or you see something different, which is what I am seeing and is not good.

Trying to track down this weird strange bug, Johan

On Gentoo with SVN 16543 I get

** Message: Gdk::PixbufError in SVGPreview::showImage ** Message: error loading pixbuf at close GdkPixbuf loader failed

but otherwise no ill-effects. Program continues normally and everything works.
