Now that the holidays are over, it's probably a good time to start focusing on cutting a release. Much good work has been done due to the steady level of activity over the past month.
It looks like all the "hard" tasks in the Roadmap have been successfully completed, but there's several other cleanup tasks still to be done. It's a good bit of work, but divided amongst us it won't take much time per person to achieve them.
We'd identified Feb 1st as a possible release date, but I think we should release when the tasks are done. Conceivably that could be before the 1st, given how much productivity the team has brought out on prior releases.
I'll post the plan shortly, and identify areas where we need volunteers. Meantime, have a look at

I'll also extract a "short list" of bugs that should be fixed for this release. There were quite a few critical ones, although I think a lot got fixed over the last few weeks. The bug tracker is at:
