And the position of the cursor and where the pen would draw on the canvas we largely offset. Deleting everything including appdata seems to have corrected it. Although, the mouse cursor is behaving oddly with the calligraphy tool. The tool only draw whilst the mouse is moving. Don't say "duh" :) The position of the cursor is offset from where it draws, and if you draw a straight line from left to right the mouse will be further right than the line.
