Please please speak up at that URL! This is the most annoying issue we have with inkscape on SuSE systems and STILL package maintainers are not aware of it.

Sorry for replying that late. I just had a look to the cited URL, but it doesn't seem to be related to this issue. It shows a bug entitled "SmoothFreeArrowStyles() in libsmooth.so" which was closed in march. Nobody there mentions inkscape or SuSE there.

I was not aware this was closed already. I'm quite sure, however, that that bug at least caused some problems with inkscape. I cannot reproduce it here anymore, unfortunately.

So, to think of it, I'll withdraw my appeal and ask the release managers to remove that URL from the Release Notes.
