Inkscape 0.39 has been released!
It has been amazing to watch everything coming together over the past few weeks. Users have been very attentive to locating, reporting, and following up on wide ranges of bugs across an impressive range of platforms. Meanwhile developers have been grinding away at the bug list; the rate of bug fixing is astounding - it is not unusual for bugs to be fixed the day they're reported. The number of translations that have come in has also been impressive.
