Fixed a couple weeks ago. Please always test up-to-date version.
I did use a recent version... from two days ago (as I stated in the email). To double check, I just updated from SVN and the problem still exists. Clipping with a rectangle shape without fill, for example, works but not with a text path without fill.
- The masked object is invisible when the file is saved and reopened. The masked object can be restored by selecting the object, unmasking and remasking.
Known issue, please someone submit a bug with detailed use case and sample file
I will submit a bug report tomorrow.
