eighth, if somebody posts to you that he is not an inkscape developer (as i did!), this doesn't mean that you can treat him like a dumm child, smiling at him, and tell him to play "sherlock holmes" to solve the problem himself. at least not if you take support for serious.

seriously, you might want to think about how you go asking for help, as thats one of the least polite responses to someone trying to help I've ever seen, and for the record, he didnt treat you like a dumb child, quite the opposite, since you made it sound like you were a developer he didnt spell it all out as much as he probably would of if he thought you didnt know what you were doing...
