Regarding this one. If we *absolutely* want to have two separate commands that temporarily clean up screen space in different ways, then at least we should
- try to make them similar, like F12 and Shift+F12;
- make both of them available from View menu.
I think when we discussed this, no one objected to merging Shift+F11 into F12 and renaming that to "Show/Hide UI"?
