Haven't tried - attached is a vector-only EPS version (from 'share/icons/inkscape.svg' with edited gradient stop colors, but no drop-shadow), exported to EPS with Inkscape 0.48. Still testing how to get a smooth drop-shadow in vector, without rasterization and as close as possible to the original.
Lots of shape interpolation should get it decent.
