Since this is a request you might want to go and see if there is already an RFE for it and chime in, and if not you should file one.

Please consider having a friendlier printer dialog. My wife and young children do not know command line Unix. Using a pipe or greater than

not intuitive for them :)
Please consider using a printer dialog widget that allows to choose:
print to PostScript file (and a dialog to choose filename.ps)
print to printer (and maybe use parsed printers names found from printcap)
how many copies to print, etc.
