I'm OK with the layout (if the file panel can be collapsed), but one thing I want to preserve is that for bitmap export, the Export dialog stays on top, is not modal, and does not close when I click Export. This is absolute basic convenience when you need to export several objects to several files, and I don't want to lose this.
