[Inkscape-devel] translation lost in save

It seems that the translation portion of my Fit Page to Selection function doesn't properly weather a save and open cycle. Can anyone offer suggestions as to how I might fix that? I suppose I need to translate each child of the document instead of translating the doc root. Yes?
