[Inkscape-devel] measurement tool - save measurement to drawing

I would find it very useful if there was a hotkey to "save" the measurement tool as part of a drawing.

Ie I use the measurement tool in the usual way and when I have it positioned where I want it, hit a key and the measurement is drawn into the diagram. Maybe one key for angle, one for distance (and one for both).
