better is: i should re-think my style of support; i should re-think my style of support...
Well, I'm not a contributor to Inkscape at all, but I know how -I- whould re-think the style of support to you: fuck off, you get no support whatsoever. Does mr. Prokoudine get paid to support you? Do you pay him to support you? Did he get paid developing Inkscape? Did you pay for Inkscape? Even if you did, I myself would be glad to lose a customer who adresses me in this tone...
only to be clear about this: the agressor was alexandre. he treated me as a stupid for no reason in his very first and short email. to be clear about your nonsense above. yes, programmers tend to smear their ego over the project. this is poor, underdeveloped behaviour but a truth especially for free-source projects. because they are open, developers tend to behave like at home in zoo. no control of their habits but whining and ranting if held back. it is a sad truth that developers are not trained how to guide a mailinglist. however, i don't take every dumm action against my person. especially not if it is the first greeting!
by the way: your tone really is as unpleasant as it could be. though i myself argued in my last email very clearly and in detail, your brainless ranting rather shows a different education. also, the question is not if you get paid but why you answer at all. you were no help, alexandre was no help. however, profiling your selfs seems to be always valid from your points of view. if you didn't want to support, you could just have ignored my please. if you wanted money, you could have asked for it. i would have answered straight to that. no, you just behaved ugly right away without anything to the case! for what was this??????
