Well again, I'm not proposing getting rid of "last style". All I want is for the default, when a new user opens Inkscape for the first time, to be "own style".
This would ONLY affect newbies. Only!

For what it's worth, this is actually one of the numerous features of Inkscape that I like. It irks me each time I have to use Illustrator to have tools revert to stupid presets I never asked for. And I'm not a developer.
