When double clicking a tool button, the old prefs dialog shows up. It should of course show the new one (the old one must be removed from the codebase), and it must open the page of that tool automatically.
This is on my todo list for the preferences dialog, but i will not have any time to work on that for the next two weeks , after that i will continue working on that and the other points described here:
