The deadline for student applications for Google Summer of Code 2008 is steadily approaching. I've seen nothing but fantastic ideas here on the list this year. If you are a student and you haven't posted an app to the list yet, don't be bashful and don't let that discourage you from applying. I encourage all students to finish up your proposals and be careful to submit them before the deadline:

March 31: 5:00 PM PDT / 00:00 UTC April 1, 2008
