Social network upadates and feed rss inkscape.org
Hi all,
I want to set updates from the official site for social networking.
Does anyone know why the rss feed does not work on www.inkscape.org?
Does anyone here know the password of Twitter? @inkscape
I'm creating a fanpage on facebook[1] too.
I know that we must prioritize free networks (Diaspora, identi.ca, noosfero and others);
But unfortunately, there are many users on the basis of proprietary networks, can provide at least notificiações and updates.
Since this part as an initial source of information; For a more complete content and participation, we encourage people to enter the alternative networks and free.

SFC is working on taking ownership of that account.
I'm creating a fanpage on facebook[1] too.
Don't we already have one?

The counsel for the SFC has gotten it back for us. I've gone ahead and branded it, but have not tweeted anything. My thought is that when we have some news, then it will get some use. Basically, as opposed to my personal twitter account I think it's best to keep it more formal and professional.

We have a group on facebook, I'm not sure about a fanpage though. If we did already have one it would be good if we could put our efforts into just one.
Cheers, Josh
It's definitely one of the things I'd like to see in the new website...I'll pitch it to Courtenay maybe it can be worked into our "new design" which I may have located someone to complete the last few touches. I'll let you know more when I hear back. Thanks, Ian

One thing I'd like to see with the new design (if possible) is for it to appear more "inky" than the flat appearance it currently has. Similar to how our icon/logo went from looking flat to "inky". Just my .02

You can configure auto-post new updates with feed www.inkscape.org using: www.twitterfeed.com

I totally agree.
Group is different from fanpage. We have many possibilities with fanpage.
