hello
i think that i wrote this bug message. however, i also believe that i dropped the launchpad account. at least i have no registration data anymore. i also don't want to create a new account because i am not an active inkscape developer.
the described error still occurs with inkscape 0.47 and all newest dependencies. any hints?

I think you might have an obsolete version of poppler headers in /usr/local. It is a build system bug that Inkscape configures at all in such a situation...
