Do translations get into a hard freeze? Just in case, I finished the four or five pending strings in this file. Attached it goes...

Yes, translations and documentation can still be submitted to the patch tracker, but we're very close to the end, so translators should get them in quickly (within a day or two max).

Here is the de.po, almost finished. I'll try to translate the remaining few strings and polish it a bit in the next 16 hours.
Cheers, Colin

Please no-one apply the new file as is.
Some of the attached file is in latin1, some of it in utf-8. Probably should change charset=iso-8859-1 to charset=UTF-8.

I'll submit to the patch tracker.
I've made charset=UTF-8 and passed through recode iso-8859-1..utf8.
I've also made the following changes. ¡N.B. NO HABLO ESPAÑOL! Please someone check these changes.
#: src/interface.cpp:968 msgid "Edit parent group" -msgstr "Editar la capo padre" +msgstr "Editar el grupo padre"
I'm guessing that "la capo" means "layer", and that the above was a copy&paste or thinko error.
#: src/interface.cpp:956 #, c-format msgid "Edit group #%s" -msgstr "Editar el grupo nº %s" +msgstr "Editar el grupo #%s"
The #%s is the XML id, e.g. "Edit group #g7" for <g id="g7">. I'm guessing that "nº g7" isn't right. However, maybe there's another word needed between grupo and #%s.

Yes, it was a typo that came from a fuzzy translation. "Editar el grupo padre" is the correct translation

I thought it was the number of the group as in "This is the #1 brand coffee" so I translated it like "Edit group number %s" = "Editar el grupo número %s". If this isn't correct the final translation should be "Editar el grupo %s" placing %s as the 'name' of the group.
Can you do this?, or should I send a corrected po file?
Thanks,

the final translation should be "Editar el grupo %s" placing %s as the 'name' of the group.
That's an interesting point: using the notation #g7 to refer to the item whose id is g7 makes sense to people familiar with XML, but probably looks strange to everyone else (given that the group's name/id is "g7" rather than "#g7").
Should "Edit group #%s" become "Edit group id %s", or "Edit group %s" ?

For the moment I suggest we retain #%s as in all[*1] other translations. For 0.40 we may change the "Edit group #%s" string and corresponding translations accordingly.
I've attached the version with the changes I indicated in the patch tracker: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=989940&grou...

[*1]: hu.po has a slight variation of wrapping #%s in quotes: `"#%s" csoport szerkesztése'.
