Hi,
Do you reactive the snap to grid feature in the next release? I think it's a usefull tool, but in actually CVS doesn't have it.
Fred.

I think we really need to have this working and active for this release, and if it isn't we should delay the release until it can be fixed.

It is known to be broken and peter was working on fixing it (I was under the impression that it was fixed already).
I have just tested latest CVS and indeed it does work.

It was broken for a little while, but it's fixed in current CVS AFAICT.
What in particular doesn't work?
pjrm.

I don't kown what CVS a I tested. In my last test, I have tested the Current Source Snapshot (inkscape-20040131) from inkscape.org and grid snap don't work.

The dates on those aren't very accurate. The update script is still getting many CVS errors on updates :/

I think it should refuse to build if there are any CVS errors.

Yeah, the problem being that the CVS update is done by the Doxygen update and then the tarball piggybacks off of that. So when the CVS fails the Doxygen stuff doesn't build... It seems to be working now. I expect a good update tonight (crosses fingers).
