Make sure it's still accurate... I want to add new content, but I think the release getting out sooner is more important. Less work for translation is the better choice for now.

Recently, a number of nice new LPEs were posted on the maillist. They look somewhat mature, shall we put them in trunk? This makes it easier to work on them, and may get some more testing done on them. LPEs are very easy to disable later-on down the road if needed, so little risk.

One of the first things we'll do when Frost starts is open up a new Experimental bzr branch. How about if we integrate these new LPEs there, to give them some extra baking time. Then ones that prove to be stable and production-ready after review, can be moved to trunk as appropriate.

I have now taken the list of changes required, and broken them out into bugs in the bug tracker (one bug per tutorial)

As long as the strings are correctly marked as translatable in the code, they show in the po files, LPE activated or not. Thus merging the new LPEs in the trunk now will allow translators to work on them, and the associated strings will remain translated even if we disable the LPEs just before releasing (if one manually reactivates the LPEs, they will show translated).
As for the experimental branch, it's not the right place to translate new strings IMHO. The trunk and stable branch should be the only sources for translators.

All of these are now closed, with the exception of the Advanced Tutorial [1], which has an Issue with the generated SVG. However, this issue shouldn't block the translators, so we should be good to mark this item as completed in the release checklist.
