A user asks if there will be a DMG for Snow Leopard. He has 10.6.2 and latest X11 from Apple. 0.47 crashes upon start for him.

I just downloaded the 0.47 DMG and it starts up just fine on my 10.6.2. However it does specify that the user install XQuartz 2.1.4. I don't think this is the same as X11 from Apple. Tell him/her to follow the link on the Inkscape download page to find XQuartz.

Please don't - the X11 (v2.3.4) provided by Apple is fine, do *not* install any beta versions of Xquartz on Snow Leopard unless you really know what you are doing.
The hint about 2.1.4 applies to Leopard only (the text will be corrected soon - Josh has already changed it in SVN version of the webpage).
