Libraries for 0.49
Are the library requirements for compiling 0.49 the same as for 0.48.2? I have just gone through the agony of adding all the Inkscape libraries needed for compiling/running 48.2 on Slackware Linux.
Please see: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Tracking_Dependencies I would recommend going higher than the bare minimum if you don't want to have to update again in 7 months.

Nope - you'll need Cairo >= 1.10. Take a look at http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Tracking_Dependencies for a reasonably up-to-date list.
