Formal announcements for the release will be delayed until Monday evening in order to give a little time for packages to be created and tested. We are also encouraging everyone to assist with the PR push to get word out about this release. If you're interested in writing an article on a topic related to Inkscape, this would be an excellent time to do so. Bryce
