Oow, that's so bad… The shield's content has gone again. Never use any Revert button! http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/WebSite#Known_Issues
It is a known bug, we reported it to django-cms: https://github.com/divio/django-cms/issues/3599 It was tagged as a blocker bug a month ago, I hadn't noticed it. This is great.
Maybe Martin will be able to take the data from a local instance.
Clicking the logo/project name/slogan at the top-left leads to the English homepage. This is because `/` automatically redirects to `/en` as Martin noticed that the language selection used a lot of performance.
I'm going to summarize the situation to Martin.

Most welcome, hope this helps. I reported the bug anyway, with this new insight, hopefully easing to pinpoint the problem.
I wish you best of luck with your moving. I'm currently on vacations with limited internet connection availability, and I'll also be making some movings myself later this year. Full home renovation will be taking place, so I'll be spending some time away from home and regular routine while works are underway. I'm planning to keep my regular schedule and resources intact though, so hopefully my availability for translations should be more or less the same. :-)
Anyway thanks for the help and sorry for the trouble

Again apologies for the trouble, didn't mean to screw up the main page again.
Things happen, and this is a bug. Don't worry, Duarte. The shield is mainly cosmetic, the real website functionality isn't broken. As long as the downloads work, people usually don't complain ;-) (we almost only ever get bug reports from non-project-members when the downloads are broken...)
About the notifications they have been there for quite a few days (opened and closed the browser a few times), I've made a full browser refresh right now, and even tried from a different browser and notifications alert flashing are still there.
I might have pressed that "X" button at the top to clear them all, without explicitly pressing the "V" mark read button (if I recall correctly, they don't currently show up), so could it be that the notifications were cleared but are still counting as unread, and not visible because they were deleted?
That's totally possible, and could be a good explanation.
I didn't test the latest website functionality for a long time, because I've been busy moving (we're just now starting to get into some kind of half-way normal routine again), and I've also never deleted any unread messages on the live site, so that could be a reason why it worked for me, but not for you ;-) Thanks for your help with pinpointing the problem!
Kind Regards, Maren

Hi Duarte, and everyone,

I think I might have screwed up now. I was about to translate the Portuguese page, but somehow pressing the banner home link took me back to the English language page without being aware of it. I noticed before publish the changes, but not before pressing the Save button.
In an attempt to undo the damage pressed the "Revert to live" but that seems to have made all content invisible. I hope I haven't screwed up again this time, sorry for the inconvenience. :S
I think by now we can be sure that what you and Sylvain experienced is a bug, not a 'screwing up' on your part.
I've tried fixing using the 'revert' functionality, but there was no change.
Please, everyone, *don't edit the front page* until Martin has had a chance to take a look at the database, so editing the shield plugin can be made safe again.
One other unrelated thing that I noticed is that the message notifications icon at the top right is always flashing and states 87 unread messages, even though I cleared all the notifications and if I visit the Alerts page it reads "No messages or alerts to view"
- That's weird. It's different for me - the unread alerts are on the
last page, which is a bit annoying, but the number diminishes correctly, when I mark them as read each individually. Never tried to mark all as read. Maybe I should now... Works for me.
Can you make a bug report for that? It seems Martin will need to take a look at the db, here, too, - please make sure your browser cache is either deactivated or you force reload the page before you create a report, though.
Thanks everyone, and sorry for this editing experience, Kind Regards, Maren
