No. Because the hackfest page is a generic page, on which you’ll leave the text without reflecting again about it. Then such an elegant sentence looks manipulating and inappropriate.
What would you suggest instead?
A modest description phrase, such as: ‘Till now, we’ve run the following hackfests:’
Note that the growing number of links will make clear that the hackfests are successful anyway — :). It would be better like that to me, standing on factual declarations. -- Sylvain
