That's great! Now we're four :-)
Juan Miguel and Lucas seem to be the more experienced around here, so do you have any starting point on this or can provide information of the current state of the Spanish translation?
Also, how are other translation teams coordinating themselves? Is there any kind of common infrastructure we can use for translations, revisions, task lists and such? If not, we can easily set up a wiki (or use Inkscape's) and begin listing people, tasks, and progress...

Hi, I'm Lucas Vieites and I'm the translator of the inkscape user interface (es.po file). There's a lot of work to be done, especially on the tutorials, so it would be best to coordinate in order to duplicate our effort and do unnecessary work.

Hi Juan and Ocetalo,
I would like to help with translation, too. In fact, I had already downloaded the current interface language file (es.po) and begun with that. If you want I can send you both what I have until now and we can coordinate the following steps :-)
Regards.

I have been translating the news from the website so if you need help with that we can work together, I haven't been enough motivation to continue with that (I began to translate the wiki too). If we can work together maybe we can atract more people to help us.

Hi How could I contact the Inkscape Spanish translation team? I'm a translator and proofreader and I'd really like to do volunteer translation for you.
God bless you
