There is no issue or problem as far as translations are concerned. We already have the
translations done for all Indic languages and these are also attached in the Bugs
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/~cpdhutadmal ).
If this can be taken ahead, Indic language users will be very happy.

I suspect what is missing is volunteers to do the translation. How to
