In my case this is really unfortunate since the equivalent article in Brazilian Portuguese leads to a non existent article: https://pt.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gr%C3%A1fico_vectorial

I am still intrigued as to why this change occurred so fast and so sudden in the website without further explanation.

Quick question: have you Bread the entire article you sent me?

It is shorter than the other articles in other languages. It is below average. Explanation is tiny bit confusing and in the 1st paragraph it states that this article needs more trusted and independent sources.

Unless you master this language (or know it to an advanced level) please don't assume things like that.

I must admit that I cannot follow you, Victor.

The English Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vector_graphics) does not have a Brazilian Portuguese counterpart.

This is because there doesn't even exist a Brazilian Portuguese version of Wikipedia, see https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Requests_for_new_languages/Wikipedia_Brazili....

So, which equivalent Wikipedia article in Brazilian Portuguese could you have meant in your previous email?

And how would that lead to a link in the Portuguese Wikipedia that does not even exist?

While there exists another one, which is even linked from the English article (which may or may not be of lower quality)?

None of this makes sense to me.

As the translator of Brazilian Portuguese, it is up to you to decide which pages you want to link to. If the quality is not sufficient, I can see a couple options:

- edit the Wikipedia article to improve the quality - don't edit it, and link to it anyway, if it's the best option - link to another article that explains the concept - link to the English article as a last resort.

I'm sure you are able to decide what's best for your readers by yourself. This is your responsibility as a translator of your language, of which, as you wrote, I only have little knowledge.
