Sorry, I was only answering for the Board team/Governance page. The ‘Latest news’ title will get its translation from the PO file. Seems it didn't, I don't know why… I thought that the website updated the POs everyday. Martin, do you have an idea? -- Sylvain

It seems you figured out how to translate the link of the Governance page. Martin fixed the problem with the PO: the folder containing it was not properly named (pt-br instead of pt_BR, wow). Your translations now show up on the live website. Then ‘Latest news’ was translated but the ‘News’ link to which you referred to (I had misunderstood your message?!) remained untranslated.
To translate it, I had to go here (using the ‘pages’ view of the admin interface): https://inkscape.org/pt-br/admin/cms/page/11/?language=pt-br You can choose another title on this page if you want. Then I had to go there (well, it wasn't really accessible, I had to type the last part in the address bar): https://inkscape.org/pt-br/noticias/?edit just to publish the translation (you shouldn't have to do it anymore).
Note that I could change https://inkscape.org/pt-br/news/ to https://inkscape.org/pt-br/noticias/ and this seems to work (according to my memories it didn't before); but the subpages are still named https://inkscape.org/pt-br/news/2016/, etc.
The procedure should be the same for other special pages such as ‘Gallery’, ‘Teams’… But you already renamed ‘Governance’ and ‘Screenshots’ so you should achieve it — :).
Happy translations, -- Sylvain
Sylvain, thank you so much, I had seen this problem, but had not yet asked to tidy up, would do this week, you've solved the problem.
