[Menu » Teams & Gallery][PT-BR] Not translated, not sure if it is a bug.
Hi all,
Hope you’re doing well.
I am slowly sorting out a few things I came across with on the website, one of those being some items of the main Menu that were not translated. I’ve checked the po file to make sure there wasn’t any missing lines, but that doesn’t seem to be the case (have a look on the side menu half is translated and half isn’t).
I don’t think the problem I am facing is a bug, but just a matter of getting my head around all the different content management tools we have. For this reason, I haven’t published the changes yet, meaning you will see the site as it still is.

On Page » Page settings, I chose the pt-br tab and added their respective translations for the menu. However, when I did that, what I got back from the links were blank pages.
Following the wiki manual for CMS, the next step would be to create a translation for the respective pages (Language » Add Language, Copy plugins, and so on). The dilema is that the page already exists and even when I try to copy the plugins from the page in English to the Pt-Br page, it doesn’t really work.
Hence, I would be very grateful if you guys could help me to figure out what I am doing wrong =).
On another note: Maren, the sponsors page is fixed for pt-br.
Have you all a lovely day,
Kind regards, Mariana
Ps.: I had added a few screenshots here, but the message got too big, so just removed them =).
Hi Mariana,
so, we already know that these pages do not use the cms for their contents. What they really are is just redirects to a different app in our django website.
When you create a new translation, you get to the dialog from the attached image. Unfortunately, it's impossible to see which language tab is active in that dialog. But you can switch to another language to see all settings for that page, esp. - for pages like these - the 'Advanced Settings'.
From these, note anything written into 'overwrite URL's and 'redirects'.
Then switch back to your own language (this is the annoying part, where you can't be sure where you are... the fields should be empty, if you haven't entered anything yet, you can also make really sure by selecting your own language a second time... sigh...).
There, put the same things into the 'Advanced Settings' that you have seen in the other language.
Did this for teams / gallery page for pt-br now (had to try it out again, too - what makes this especially hard is that one cannot access that dialog easily, when the page has already been created - except from the English page in Edit mode...).
You may get a chance of trying this out yourself when we add the new 'releases' app officially to the website :)
Kind Regards, Maren

Thank you so much Maren!
Sounds really complicated indeed, lol had to read your message twice lol. Happy enough that I got to that first menu from your screenshot! I got to open the advanced settings too, but was afraid to mess things up. Still, the important thing is that it’s sorted and I will (hopefully) know how to do it next time =).
Have a lovey eve.
Kind regards, Mariana
