The strings for the Windows installer are available for translation / revision / completion ?

Hi Cristi,
according to a Wiki edit we 'Don't lie to users (starting with 1.0 the Windows installer is not translatable anymore and default templates are auto-generated)'.
The translation page on the website had already been edited to reflect the change, but had not been published. I've done that now.
So, no need to search for something that doesn't exist anymore!

Speaking about Romanian, the new fresh 1.2.1 shows a deplorable mix of un+translated strings, resulting in an overall not-known-which-language that is in the end.

- I think Patrick was talking about SVG default templates for Inkscape there whose translations are now included in the main po files.
Speaking about Romanian, the new fresh 1.2.1 shows a deplorable mix of un+translated strings, resulting in an overall not-known-which-language that is in the end.
- Yes. Some of the strings seem to come from the main po file of Inkscape, and some are coming from the program that generates the installers. It's a different, unrelated project.
Marc can probably tell you exactly which one it is, I'm including him in CC. I think it's called cpack or something like that.

None of the already translated strings are coming from the main .po file, since in the main .po file there is not any single ț or ș with cedilla below; and none of the untranslated strings exists in the main .po file, since – random example – there is no such string as "desktop icon" or "system path" there.

So it seems all of them come from the other application. Nothing to translate in Inkscape, at least.
I thought there was something describing what Inkscape is, but I don't speak Romanian, seems I got that wrong.
