Lucas,
I agree that it would be helpful for it to be as final as possible.
Being a native English speaker, I assumed that having knowledge in
advance would be advantageous to get most of the work out of the way.
Apparently the translation process is more specific and intricate than I
had assumed. Lucas, can you suggest what would be most helpful to
translators? Not saying anything until it's finalized? Stating what is
completely finalized?
Cheers,
Josh

Hi,
I just copied the English text to the existing "es" page:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Inkscape047-PRannounce-es
but I think there's parts of the text that can/should be omitted in
the final press release.
Also, It's very difficult to keep a translation up to date in a wiki
if the original is not finished, So it would be very useful if the
press release is as much finished as possible before translation
begins.
Are we at this point?
Are major changes in the press release to be expected?
Thanks,

Hi,
I'll take care of the spanish version if that's OK.

Hey all,
we need help in translating the announcement for the
new release
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/AnnouncePlanning047
to different languages. It's easy with the wiki and if
someone needs
help with it, he or she can email me or catch me in
the inkscape channel.
I started the translation for German
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/AnnouncePlanning047_de
Sincerely,
