Hi, I just copied the English text to the existing "es" page: http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/Inkscape047-PRannounce-es but I think there's parts of the text that can/should be omitted in the final press release. Also, It's very difficult to keep a translation up to date in a wiki if the original is not finished, So it would be very useful if the press release is as much finished as possible before translation begins. Are we at this point? Are major changes in the press release to be expected?

Packagers, please package up Pre3 if you have not already done so as a practice run... and honestly, I think it would be safe to plan a release for next week (between Monday the 5th and Friday the 9th), provided packages are available and no new issues arise.

Any objections to this proposed plan? Any thoughts on if releasing on a specific day of the week will get more notice?

Oh, and translators... please get any updates submitted asap. Thanks!
