What's next? Translating 1.2.1
Hi there, I was kinda bummed that I couldn't get my Spanish translation finished 100% for the release of 1.2, so I'm setting my sights on 1.2.1, but I have a couple of questions before I start working on that. Do we have to wait for a git branch and a fresh po file to be generated? or, can we just continue our work on the po file we had downloaded from the 1.2.x branch?

Hi Lucas,
the 1.2.x branch is what Inkscape 1.2.1 will be taken from, in autumn.
I would recommend that - if your previous work has all been merged into 1.2.x - you start your next chunks of work with the up-to-date po file from the up-to-date auto-generated translation artifacts zip (i.e. download it again).
If you have any changes that aren't in 1.2.x yet, you should update your po file with the pot file from the above mentioned zip file before you continue.

Hi Cristi,
Inkscape 1.2.1 will be released shortly as a hotfix release because of a bug that could lead to data loss without the user noticing until the next time they open the file.
The pot file location for 1.2.x has not changed, it's still available in the translations pipeline zip file: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inkscape/-/jobs/artifacts/1.2.x/download?job=tra...
