Actually it's the 590px export which is correct, while the 750px one is broken. It's another instance of the missing stroke bug: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1244737&gro...
The lakes are one very complex paths, and at some zooms this paths loses its stroke. If you don't need the stroke, select the lakes object and assign no stroke to it (it will also make it display much faster). Then it will look correct at all zooms.
