AFAIK, ImageMagick is a set of utilities (convert, etc.) in your system. The Linux box I use to connect to the Internet doesn't have much installed. I am going to re-install everything on another completely and will certainly update you on it after I have installed it.
I know ImageMagick is on my computer, I find it but there is no executable, just config-type files associated with it. It seems to be a special program that other programs use to display graphic, png, jpg, etc., files.
What I wish to know is how to run from within Inkscape the script that does drop shadows with blur on objects, type, drawings, etc.
