Hi,
this Tom from Germany writing. Congratulations to InkScape. Its a very fine program especially to a person who changed from Win to Lin and knows f.e. Corel Draw.
I have a little problem with Inkscape, maybe some of you could help me soluting it:
1. I run Mandrake Linux 10 OfficialPowerpack, Kernel is 2.6.3-7.
2. I am still a real newbie to Linux, but I learn each day... (so please be a little patient with me :)
3. I run a Lexmark Optra R+ laser printer, wich can resulute highest 1200x1200dpi by 150lpi and emulates Postscript 2 + 3 and has 20 MB RAM
4. I have compiled Inkscape here on my system and it works.
5. But I cannot print about Inkscape neither to the laser printer, nor to a postscript file.
6. When printing into a postscript file, Inkscape does not finish the job, and the result, viewed f.e. in Ghostview, is an empty sheet.
I would really appreciate any hint wich would help to solute this probs.
