[Inkscape-user] Opening .pdf file gets completely white figure

Hello everyone,

I'm having a problem with Inkscape version 1.1.1 on my Macbook macOS Monterey 12.1, running on a M1 Pro chip.

Whenever I open a .pdf file, all I get is a completely white image. Just a white square, nothing else. I've used Inkscape for years on Ubuntu and never had this problem before.

Could anyone give any advice? Thanks a lot!
