[Inkscape-user] Inkshape does not work on MacOSX

I run system 10.4.11 on an iBook G4 (this model: http://support.apple.com/specs/ibook/iBook_G4_Late_2004.html).

I've downloaded Inkshape and followed the described procedure. When I open the program, another program called X11 also opens. A few seconds after, Inkshape quits, leaving only X11 open. This happen every time. I've tried to download Inkshape again a few months later, and the situation is still the same.
