[Inkscape-user] Importing Adobe Illustrator files

Hi all,

According to Tavmjong's manual (http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/MANUAL/html/ch03s02.html) the ImageMagick Perl module is needed to import AI files into Inkscape. But the suggested link to get it is dead.

I've been searching this list's archives, and read about another perl script called ill2svg.

Which option is best? Where can I find the latest release of these scripts? How should I install them in a MacOS X environment?
