while preparing color images for printing in a book two years ago, I noticed that the colors in the final pdf did not match those colors I had chosen. The conversion from svg to pdf was obviously not correct. I did not follow the discussion but would like to know whether the problem remains or that there are ways to have the pdf the same colors as svg drawings.
Can you provide a sample SVG file that renders wrongly into a PDF using the latest stable version of Inkscape ( 0.91 ), and specify which PDF Viewer (and on which operating system, its version and platform) you are using to view it? Otherwise it will be hard to tell whether the problem remains.
